Shima Fukubayashi, owner

Shima spent her childhood between the US and Japan, and with an extensive career in the financial industry, she brings a unique blend of skills to her clients.

Shima moved to Tokyo, Japan, when beginning studies at Keio University. After graduating with a BA in Economics, she attended the graduate program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the United States. She joined Andersen Consulting, now known as Accenture, as a financial business process consultant after earning her MBA from the University of Illinois. The consulting job led to her joining Goldman Sachs. Before establishing Oak Creek Associates in 2016, she worked for other securities companies and investment banks for 15 years, including Citigroup Securities, BNP Paribas, and UBS, in roles such as Equities Sales Trader, Institutional Sales, and Private Banker. She also has experience in the early stages of startups, such as real estate investment funds and fintech, in a supporting role.

Shima majored in international economics as an undergraduate student at Keio University, with her thesis on carbon taxes and their economic impacts. She has pursued her interest in environmental economics and has recently ventured into corporate ESG, serving as a senior advisor for an international real estate investment fund. She aims to contribute to GHG emission reduction from the real estate sector, which accounts for almost 40%(*) of the global CO2 emissions. She faces rapidly changing ESG disclosure regulations globally and challenging data valuation systems, but finds joy in developing sustainable investing and fund management strategies to deliver sound solutions for reducing fund-level carbon footprints. She completed the Climate Risk and ESG for Corporate Governance and Decision-making Executive Program at Peter A. Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia, in 2024.

Shima is fluent in both English and Japanese. She is a certified Japanese Sake Taster, Kikisake-shi(**), and enjoys baking. She has been an avid skier since childhood and still enjoys taking trips during the winter to seek fresh powder snow. Her favourite mountains are Niseko and Rusutsu in Hokkaido, Japan, and Whistler/Blackcomb and Cypress Mountain in Vancouver, Canada.

代表　福林 志麻

米国と日本で育ち、金融業界の様々な役職のもとでの実務経験を生かし、実現可能な戦略から適切なソリューションをスピード感をもってお客様にご提供し、実行までサポートをすることを得意としております。

慶應義塾大学経済学部を卒業後、米国イリノイ大学アーバナ・シャンペイン校にてMBAを取得いたしました。その後、金融セクター・ビジネスコンサルタントとして現アクセンチュアでの勤務を経て、約15年間にわたり外資系証券会社各社（ゴールドマン・サックス証券、日興シティグループ証券、BNPパリバ証券、UBS証券／銀行）にて日本株式セールストレーダー、機関投資家向け株式営業、そしてプライベート・バンカーとして金融市場に携わり、国内外の機関投資家や富裕層のお客様の投資運用を様々な側面からサポートさせていただきました。さらに、不動産ファンドやフィンテック企業の立ち上げ初期のメンバーとしてオペレーションから人事採用まで、多様な役職にて幅広い実務経験を積んでまいりました。

慶應大学在学中は国際経済学を専攻し、炭素税とその経済的な影響について研究を行いました。近年の金融・投資業界におけるESG への関心の高まりを受け、弊社の代表を務めるかたわら、英国不動産投資ファンドの日本事業ESGシニアアドバイザーを兼務しております。ESGの”E”に主眼をおき、欧州における変化の目まぐるしい環境規制・評価制度に関する調査や、世界の温暖化ガス排出量の40％(*)近くを占める不動産セクターからの二酸化炭素排出量削減のために、ハード・ソフトの両面で有効となる施策・方針の策定および実行に携わっております。また、2024年にカナダ・ブリティッシュコロンビア大学Peter A. Allard School of Lawにおいてエグゼクティブ・プログラム”Climate Risk and ESG for Corporate Governance and Decision-making”を履修し、終了証を取得しました。

英語および日本語ネイティブ。プライベートでは、日本酒唎酒師(**)として日本文化の継承を心がけています。幼少から始めたスキーは現在も続けており、冬場は新雪を求めてニセコ・ルスツ（北海道）、ウィスラーやサイプレス（バンクーバー）などへ脚を運んでいます。
